Drawing the Details of Nature Class

I will again be teaching a class at Highlands Center for Natural History in Prescott. Dates are Oct. 29-Nov. 9, a two-week, M/W/F fun time from 9-noon. Contact them at https://highlandscenter.org/ to sign up. We will focus on Fall Changes, those beautiful details all around us. Bring colored pencils, a Bristol Board tablet and your curiosity. HCNH will provide a supply list.

Fall is a wonderful time, and we will draw outside/inside as weather dictates. This first drawing is a White-crowned Sparrow in a Cottonwood. These pretty sparrows arrive in our area in the Fall and leave in Spring. The second drawing is a simple study of Forest Floor Litter. There's beauty everywhere!
