Working on Hannah's Secret

For years I have been sharing the wonders of nature with children through picture books.Sometimes the best way to see nature is with a child. There is nothing quite as exciting as a toad hunt after a couple of weeks of Arizona's Monsoon rain. This will find it's way into a book, I promise you. Granddaughter, Annalyssa, shows Grandma and Grandpa how to do it, catch-and-release style. In the midst of preparing for a Nov/Dec premier of Hannah's Heart, the play, I have begun work on Hannah's Secret. This next entry in fictional Hannah's adventures, is destined to offer a look at Spring/Summer 1936 in Prescott, AZ. There will be Red Spotted Toads, a treehouse and more than enough mystery. So sometimes a simple walk along the Willow Lake Trail near our house, if seen through the eyes of a bright, curious child, becomes a part of the story.
